Yay... updates!!! Hope you had a great vacation... but so happy you're back to continue this wonderful story. I could really feel the tension b/w Spike and Buffy. Loved the "peck" and am hoping for much more "pecking" to come.

I know that Spike and Dru have to work on a project together. But I thought that he would realize that Dru is trying to screw with his head (and Buffy's). I was curious about why you skipped over the "Buffy bursts into tears when questioned about getting married" thing earlier in the story, and its good to finally know what happened and why. But what I really really want to know is what the *anything* is. ; ) Looking forward to more.

Oh my god, wow. This scene just totally had my stomach tingling and my heart fluttering. It is extremely well written (chapter 11) and really just sweet and warm. Loved it. And now, I'm just going to read on! :D GREAT story!

Oh Willow is so ON THE MONEY! with her assessment of Buffy's engagement. And it looks like Dru has got her plot on to ruin anything that might be developing between Spike & Buffy. Can't wait for the next chap with the promise of Spike beginning his role as the faux-fiance. More please.

Good chapter. Interesting to note that the apple does not fall far from the tree. Buffy is upset w/ her dad for being a coward for not asking for her mom's forgiveness. At the same time, Buffy can not admit her true feelings to Spike. I can't wait for updates and am looking forward to the whole fiance facade.

Lovely chapter. What an interesting point of view on Buffy and her Dad. I liked how you included him as being an important aspect of Buffy's life rather than being the typical deadbeat dad that he is often portrayed as being. Even more interesting is that he is all behind Spike. Can't wait to find out what Spike is expecting in return for his assistance. Hope it's something yummy.

I hope someone eventually intervenes for Spike and Buffy but in the meantime it will be interesting to see this pretend fiancee thing develop. Great chapter!

Oooh! This is going to be good. I don't think that I could pretend to be someone's fiance, especially if I was completely in love with them. And I also wouldn't agree to something without knowing what it was. But yet, I am dying to know what happens anyway. Whatever happens though I have a feeling that this will be the changing point. I am very much looking forward to it. ; )
