Ahhhh...sweet satisfaction. So that's where our girls are at. I feel sorry for the boys however. Spike's hurting (ok he's actually angry but you can tell there's hurt underneath it) because Giles doesn't see that he made a wrong choice (though he wasn't in possession of all the facts now was he - even Angel's own team nearly turned on him thinking he'd 'gone to the darkside'). Giles is all affronted at Spike calling question to his actions (or lack thereof). And Xander's been reminded that he too is fallable (that must really smart - especially when you're far more accustomed to pointing out others' shortcomings). Time for some more male-bonding and a little healing with the assistance of a nice merlot methinks, LOL. Really looking forward to your next instalment.

Oh I absolutely love this story! I'm so glad that Kennedy is getting her comeuppance! She was a bitchy character that could NEVER replace Tara and she was a poor substitute too! Glad to see Giles give her the ol' heave ho' of sorts for her mouth! Can't wait until the next chapter! :)

The Ripper still shows through sometimes don't he? Thanks for taking Kennedy to task as well - that sooo needed to happen. But methinks we may not have seen the last of her yet. I don't normally review a fic until more of it has been posted (I'm all about the instant gratification sometimes) but DAMN if this piece hasn't drawn me in with just 2 chapters. The imagery of our Brit badboys sharing a snifter of cognac as the events of AtS season 5 are recounted is very enticing too - I can't wait to see what further disclosures the shift to a more private location might bring when the discussion resumes. I'd be particularly interested in hearing about what, if any, Spike's remaining feelings for Buffy are ~hint hint~ More soon. Please.
