i can't believe i'm saying this especially with how much of a bitch buffy was to spike in the past but she's right. buffy can't prove to spike how much she's changed if he doesn't give her the chance. i understand how hard it is for him to do that. i really don't know how their gonna bounce back from this. i have faith though. post soon.

Very nicely written emotional turmoil between Spike & Buffy. Spike does vulnerable and pained so beautifully. It's even harder to view without any of his false bravado-- just heartbreaking. Great stuff-- looking forward to more.

Oh my.. whom should I pity more here: Buffy or Spike? *sigh* It's so heartbreaking. What remained to be seen was whether that wave would bring them together or tear them apart forever. *nods* Hopefully bringing them together again. Very emotional chapter (loved it). And again a cliffhanger, huh? Give a little, take a little.. what will it be? Looking forward to Spike's answer :)

She's one smart cookie! I loved the quirkiness that was Xanya, but I can see how he also blew her off in many ways to stay in good with his friends-- further encouraging Buffy to hide Spike.

And yes, you are evil, you naughty thing-- making me wait with baited breath for Spike's reply! Hopefully, good things will come to those who wait! ;)

Fortunately, Spike follows his blood, which in his own words, doesn't always flow in the direction of his head. Hopefully, he'll follow his heart, and allow her the chance to show him with every day kindness and tenderness how much she loves him. It would be great to see them as fierce warriors, fighting side by side, and then passionate but emotionally-vulnerable lovers. Looking forward to the next chapter.

I love how Buffy is using the truth spell to "bare her soul." Spike has been oddly quite thus far.

I just want to cry for Buffy and her breaking heart. Amazing how much my contempt for her has melted right into rooting for her now.

Another great chapter and I can hardly wait for the next one!
