Oh, dear...what a wish! I can't blame Dawn for it, though. I'd wish for that, too. And it's more of a mature wish than her original one turned out to be.

Things between Xander and Anya are bound to be interesting! LOL...

And Tara and Willow will have the magic discussion, and the poor bewildered "civilians"...

What Dawn will be understanding soon, is that she didn't get told by Spike because of Buffy. Cuz there's no way Dawn could have kept from saying something to her sister if Spike told what was going on. And Buffy would have beat him to death for it.

So Buffy wants Spike to come to her birthday party... and Spike gave in. Yet when Spike jerked his hand out of hers? He hurt her a bit (and / or reminded her that things aren't not well yet). But she was happy when he told her he would come. I just wish there would be no more secrets! That was Dawn's wish? Oh my.. the Scoobies have a lot of secrets. Things will get interesting. I just hope things won't get out of hand. Oh, *check* found waylayed. So Dawn was waylaying Spike. Oh yeah, things will get interesting. And Buffy is right too: *And why am I working so hard at making everybody *else* so comfortable? Isn't this day about me?* It's her day. :) Till next chapter!

It's always a kicker when we get exactly what we want, only to find out it is the most horrible thing in the world. Spike's pain is so calmly stated, and so powerful. I like how he talks about forgiving, but not allowing her to hurt him again. I also like how he views what Buffy did as trying to destroy his love for her-- trying to take something else away from him. Powerful stuff!

i'm proud of spike in this. i hated the way the show portrayed him as this weak love sick puppy. i mean, i'm all for spuffy lovin' but it just didn't feel right cuz he wasn't her equal on the show...not until the end anyway. i'm glad that tey're talking things slow. waiting always makes something that much sweeter. great job. buffy really is making an effort. really would've liked to read about the confession with her friends. not even tara or anya wwere on her side. hmmm...that sucks. well, anyway, (rambled a little more than planned), great job. please post soon. loved it lots

I think Spike should be glad.. if Buffy told her friends then she is on the right way. I'm glad about her. At last (too last maybe) she had the courage to stand up for what she wants against the Scoobies. Took her long enough. Well you can't say that Buffy isn't trying to make things right! Loved the chapter, looking forward to the next one :)
