It's really good that Buffy and Spike had her chance with the truth spell. Otherwise Spike would have never be sure to believe her the she means it, really means it. I hope he'll give her a chance now. :) Looking forward to the next update!

Really great update. I loved Buffy's speech. I loved Spike's reaction to Buffy's speech. I loved Buffy's reaction to Spike's reaction to Buffy's speech. Not to sound redundant or anything, but I LOVED this chapter! I also like how Xander had the big lightbulb go on over his head, and Buffy echoing the words he used to encourage Buffy to run after Riley. Looking forward to Spike and Buffy having a moment alone now that all the declarations have been made. Or maybe Spike needs to make a declaration of his own-- perhaps he needs to tell Buffy how upset he was, how much he wanted to push her away so that he wouldn't get hurt again, but that he can't refuse her. How she's made him believe now. Great stuff. I am really enjoying this.

Darn that Xander Harris-- Always bollocksing things up! But "yah" on Buffy for setting thing write-- for choosing Spike for once, for putting him first. You did a very nice job capturing the intense emotions! Looking forward to more.
