Good story please keep writing. I always thought she should been allowed some space to herself. I don't like Riley, could you give him some brain cells? Nothing is worse than a wholesome nice face without any intelligence, at least common sense.

This is fantastic! I loved this chapter--not boring in the least! It gave really good insight into Buffy's life, definitely got a sense of how she lives, how jaded and unhappy she is. I wonder what happened to her to make her that way.

I totally missed that story when you post the first chapter. But I'm gonna read it now :)
You're right; if you (we) don't have read much more the epilogue (what Charissa did, where she is) doesn't make much sense yet. I wonder how she fits into the rest of the story. ~

And Buffy had been called at the age of fourteen? And she didn't find a lot of happiness yet (or since then). Otherwise she wouldn't be bitter. She dropped out of school too? Interesting too that a slayer and watcher have a bond. ~ But Buffy was lucky to have found the job she has now. Could have been a lot worse. I wonder what's the what with her feeling shortly she arrived at her work (the dropping of temperature etc.).

Author's Response: I wanted to create a bond between Buffy and Giles simply because later I want something she can go back on. I had been watching School Hard and had remembered the feeling Joyce got when Buffy had been fighting Spike. I wanted to create something similar because of the fact that Buffy and Giles watcher/slayer relationship is much more different than any before. I'm glad you picked up on the dropping of temperature. The Charissa was confusing and exactly how I wanted it to be. Don't fret about it, she probably won't be mentioned again until later into the story. Hope you enjoyed it.

I'm intrigued. Very sound base in the first 2 chaps. You'v e provided some background and introduced many characters (a few old and a few new) and basically left me wondering what's going on. So I'm intrigued. What IS going on, why IS Buffy apart from her friends (I have an idea, but I'm gonna wait and see where you take this). Like is so far and would really like to read more please.

I really, really like this story. I'm intrigued. I also can't wait until their first meeting. For some reason, I can imagine Buffy and Spike getting along extremely well. Both so dark. I'm aniticpating the next chapterrrrr

loved it. i feel so sorry for buffy. sometimes it is easier to be on your own and not let anyone in. sometimes it's easier to just be....alone. not fun but easier so i guess i can understand why buffy is being such a....witch. it's just easier. loved it lots. great start. glad u came back with a post. please continue.
