*ggg* So Anya knows exactly what Xander is doing when alone (and the it doesn't include baking lol).
Loved Willow supporting Buffy and Joyce telling Giles what is on her mind.
First I thought everybody was apologizing.. but Xander managed to make Buffy angry again. I don't know if he'll ever learn.

Uh-huh.. Dawn is in BIG trouble now. At last Spike is together with Buffy on the hunt for her, has a trace now.
~ Oh good! They were in time; nasty fate John had in store for Dawn. ~ And it seems one thing Buffy did play with with Spike's cell was the ringing tone *g* and more. ;-)
Loved the last part, going / getting along well not only literally, they were talking too. Really talking :))

Ok, don't get mad but while I think you have their character voices down, there is some stuff that bugs me: IMO, Joyce and Dawn being all TEAM SPIKE is kind of convoluted, especially considering by FFL Dawn and Spike weren't even friends yet on the show and when they were she still favored her sister over him.

And then this: "She’d never understand the concept of friendly, harmless demons." Huh? Didn't Buffy allow Clem to crash her birthday party, as well as give him a great big hug in "Potential"? I think Buffy understands gray just as much as anyone else. It's just with Spike... "I can't trust you enough for it to be love." As far as canon goes, the girl did have a point, and I'm not just talking about the AR alone.

I realize this is highly AU so anything goes I guess. And I have a soft spot for baby fics that aren't too schmoopy, with Buffy and Spike acting recognizable with their squabbling, and hurting, but also caring for each other despite themselves - you have their confused dynamic down pat - which is why I want to read more despite this fic pinging some of my pet peeves.

I know Sawn was more Buffy than Spike, but I figured in this ficcie, he needs all the support he can get. Yay, finally they're making some progress. Maybe she'll be ready to tell him about the baby soon. If he would just stop saying stupid things and prove that he can be decent. I was hoping she would have just come out and asked him if he liked kids, you know, as in not eating them...lol! She should say something like that to start the conversation and then mention that she's carrying his child. And Dawn going out with a demon? Like sister like sister...lol! At least Buffy's demon's were hotties. Anyway, glad to see an update. Can't wait for more=)
