Wow, Buffy is one loose canon who may hurt anyone at any given moment. I was hoping that a tranquilizer gun was handy in case she managed to cross a boundary that was not allowed. Her strengh at the moment is a big problem and she needs to feel the helplessness that Spike is feeling.

I'm glad that for once Buffy was able to fight against the dark power in her, but only because she would have hurt her mother if she didn't. And they almost wasn't able to do it. And now Joyce wants to separate the two? Well that did definitely go too far for Primal!Buffy. She's back... Looking forward to the next part.

Geesh, now would be a good time for Giles to give Buffy the potion that makes a slayer temprarily weak so that she won't hurt anyone that she may regret later on.

Seems her strength is her greatest enemy for the moment because of her out of control emotions.

Great chapter, want to see if Joyce manages to contain the situation before it escalates out of control.

okay...I LOVE JOYCE SO MUCH RIGHT NOW!!!! buffy has a lot of nerve. to me, it's like she still believes that this is still all about her. she won't really give any thought to spike and what he might be going through. oh sure, she says she's sorry but then she hurts him again. buffy's really not my favorite person right now. but i loved the chapter. it seems like there won't be a happy ending but i know there will be. i have faith in the spuffy. lol. thanks for the update. please post soon

Even now, Buffy won't admit thoughts out loud....and that's the problem! Joyce would have had no problem with her saying that she wanted, and should, get to know Spike better, probably even encourage it in an attempt for Buffy to see him as more than a thing., but Buffy keeps thinking in circles and grabbing for denial.

Joyce, you've got quite a pair...at least she knows what she's getting in to. She knows how dangerous her daughter is.

Well, thank goodness Joyce realizes that Buffy needs help and isn't in control when this THING comes to the front. I find it interesting that when Dawn and Joyce touch her, Buffy becomes herself. Wonder what that's all about. Joyce better watch out though...she may find herself in some serious hurt if she crosses possessed Buffy. I'm sure Spike will do all he can to keep that from happening though. I agree that these two need to be separated, but the mistake was actually TELLING this to Buffy. Someone should have just knocked her on the head and put her and Spike in separate nice and comfy cages.

Don't you just love fiesty Joyce! Sure hope someone comes up with some kind of solution soon - poor Spike can't take much more and Buffy fluctuating from good and evil must be exhausting. Great update. more please.

Good to see Buffy come to the decision that she wants to get to know Spike better now. Maybe it will help their bond, who knows? And trying to stop it is even better, but it seems (she tried it before, right?) that she can't influence it. Glad Dawn is trying to defend Spike even if she doesn't know everything yet. As always, looking forward to the next part!

Well, now that Joyce and Dawn are part of the solution, I can only hope that Buffy will tell them what triggers her "Hyde" to her "Dr. Jaeckle" if she even has a clue.

Maybe Buffy will let Spike claim her, so that he has a bit of power in the relationship, and so the bond can be more mutual? I just hope that Buffy's alter ego doesn't get ticked off at Joyce and Dawn and hurt them for trying to protect Spike.
