Mmmm....cool spell. Now Spike's just gonna have to bite her!!! (Big, crazy smile on my face!) Can't wait until Buffy realizes that the source of her power isn't much different than Spike's, and if she feels for him now, his claim will only really pull things together for them. Yummy goodness!

wow. this is getting deep. loved it much!! can't wait for the next chapter. still hating buffy right now. i know she's trying to get help but.....she's still not my favorite person right now. i love this story though. it's so different and leaves me on the edge of my seat after every chapter. great job. please post soon.

seems kind of harsh of Giles to blame willow so much- after all, he's the adult , and it's not like he doesn't know she's got magc issues.

They could ask Spike...he's an authority on Slayers. I'd have a tough time believing he'd never heard that the Slayer was originally made from a demon.

Well, Spike is bound by the claim. The problem, is that Buffy has not had some restraint added since the spell was performed. Have Spike claim her, and she accept, and she goes back to regular Buffy again.

Hard to believe Giles never heard, or researched about where the Slayer came from. And certainly, the Council knows. At least the upper brass will...

If Giles tried very hard he could have asked a sillier question. He must know by now that Buffy isn't okay. ~ Willow used a loosing sort of spell? So maybe it did loose more than she intended... like Buffy's inner slayer. Yep... that's it. And the solution too. If Buffy would be bound by another (warrior's power) it should be restraint again. And yet Willow didn't tell what she altered in the spell. I wonder what she did. And how they'll get Buffy's source of power get bound by Spike because said power didn't want to. ~ Looking forward to the next chapter :)

Go Joyce! Giles and Willow are so self-righteous when it comes to their own perspective of what is right or wrong when it concerns other people's lives. Time for the table to be switched on them and have their lives turned upside down and get a taste of their own medicine. I hope that Joyce pushes them out of their complacency and feel the wrath of her anger (more).

i loved joyce in this chap. Usually i don't like her so much... but here she was great! giles simply deserved all of that... i almost she will keep her "promise" and send a furoius primal buffy on giles-killing spree! lol

Oh my.. even Giles is hoping to find what is wrong with the spell, he underestimates Spike / doesn't know him at all (thinking Spike would go on his next killing spree or hurt Buffy). Yay for Joyce to tell Giles her opinion on the whole situation. And Joyce got it right: You think it doesn't matter if she hurts Spike, because he's not human? That hit the nail right on the head. And Joyce managed to threaten Giles *gg*. ~ Willow.. so she did indeed something more than she should. But she doesn't intend to tell that so far. ~ Looking forward to the next part what she'll will do.. and if Buffy will break free to search for Spike.

Go on Joyce.. Rupert has be dawdling.

And we must assume that Willow has put a little something in the spell that has backfired again.

Enjoying the story.. even though poor Spike is still Buffy's whipping boy.
