Wow, I'm proud of Buffy, the real Buffy. I hope they make it through this. I would hate for whatever it is, which I'm assuming is the Slayer coming out, to destroy them or their relationship! I can't wait to find out what Spike wants to say.

Oh my.. Buffy is still suffering of what she did to Spike, whatever he says. Well he isn't okay and Buffy saw it; even it wasn't really Normal!Buffy's fault that Spike got hurt. But Xander.. he'll never trust Spike because Spike got Buffy and not he, Xander. Xander should act like a friend but he doesn't. Loved Buffy's speech. And now Spike will tell.. in the next part :)

Very nice! I've had some catching up to do on my reading since I'd been away on vacation. I really like where you are taking this story-- I loved the tender moments they shared as Buffy shared her blood, and the way she recently stood up to her friends was amazing! Wish the writers of BtVS had her do that and not worry about the Xan-man so much! Looking foward to your next chapter!

Aha! I knew it would all come down to that pesky first slayer! Can't wait til Spike spills all the beans (I still think Willow's got some 'splainin' to do too). As much as I know you need him for plot (and cause we all need someone to hate - other than Buff - at this point) I hope Bitch-Buffy knocks Xander around a bit before all is put to rights - he's just SOOOOOOOO annoying! He'd learn so much more if he'd shut up and listen once in a while. Well, back to your wonderful tale.... I still love it and look forward to the next installment. Sure hope Buffy can keep her Slayer cool through Spike's explaination. Thanks so much for sharing your talent.

I'm really glad Buffy's finally come around and is supporting Spike. You've built up a truly delicious plot line in this, can't wait for the next chapter!!

I forgot to add Joyce last time: she cares about Spike too, not only Buffy and Dawn. But that's it. Okay, Anya was worried too. ~ To the new chapter: Loved Buffy going through the motions. .. hopefully things will start to get better; if they are able to prevent the next danger (the council). Is Buffy gonna end up dying if whatever's in her doesn't leave? I hope no one else gets hurt, especially Spike. He's suffered enough and so has Buffy, the real one, in a way!
Great chapter! I hope it goes well for them! I can't wait to find out what's wrong. Hopefully they'll stop whatever's in her and get it out!
By the way, when's Spike gonna be able to claim her back again as well?

Wow great update. Love the embarrassing moment for Joyce while Spike and Buffy got all erotically stimulated (God I love Anya). So happy that they made it through that little episode without Bitch-Buffy making an appearance. Thank goodness for Joyce or Spike would be suffering at the hands of more than just a possessed slayer. Love this tale (even though I get all teary-eyed every time Buff stomps all over Spike with such evil glee). Glad she's giving him blood - hopefully it will give him some insight or at least some sort of defense against UberEvil Buffy when she decides to come out and play again. So, is Willow every gonna fess up to what she did with the spell so they can figure everything out, or is she gonna wait until someone dies at the hands of the Buffy-bitch? With Dawn's green-glowy help, I'll bet Giles and Anya can figure out how to help Buffy kick her evil twin right out of the ozone! Can't wait for more. Thanks for sharing.

Seems besides Dawn (and Buffy) nobody cares a lot about Spike... thanks to Joyce to get them back on track (when Giles was questioning Buffy). (And Willow would be able to do the spell wrong anyway. Better not let her doing it.) Internal bleedings.. that is indeed the worst state Spike was in so far after Buffy's treatment. Yep, Slayer's blood is the best (and quickest) cure at the moment (isn't it always?) and they need him to have his strength. ~ Looking forward to the next part! :)

You know, I'm almost afraid to say something because I'm sure that someone will accuse me of being a troll or having multiple sockpuppets. You have a talent for descriptive writing, no question, and I enjoy reading your stories. But I'm having a very hard time with the characterization.

There's a lack of balance that's giving me trouble here. Joyce, Dawn, Spike and Anya are all perfect: loving and caring, yet still (in the case of Spike and Anya) abused by the people they love. Xander and (to a slightly lesser extent) Giles and Willow are the villains: bigoted, uncaring and cavalier in their attitudes towards the woobie Spike. These are Buffy's friends. She loves them. There's no need to tear down the other characters to make Spike (and Anya) into saints in comparison.

And then there's Buffy. I'm glad that you've finally separated the real Buffy from the force that's controlling her, and I hope that no one lays any guilt on her for something that she can't control.

Also, I think that writing Spike as an abused innocent lessens him as a character, frankly. He's not an innocent. He's not some trembling, weepy sap who loves everyone and just wants to be liked. He's a demon who, at this point in the show, still violently hated all of the Scoobies (including Buffy) and would have no problems at all with killing them off, if he could.

I'm enjoying your stories. I plan on reading them in the future. I just think that your writing could be strengthened by a little more balance towards the characters. None of them are perfect, Spike included.
