Oh that was mean of the Slayer... and yet verrrrry clever indeed. It was normal water. Perfect simple test to check Spike's behavior. The crucial bite I'll cross my fingers that it will work :) Only then Spike will be able to save them all. ~ Good chapter :)

I thought was what the Slayer would do with holy water - the test was to see if he would really drink it - not to harm him any further. She needs him healed (at least some) in order to do what she wants him to. If nothing else, if Dawn or Joyce got a look at his condition, they'd know for sure what had happened.

Things are repeating themselves.. Buffy thought once she had won but she hadn't. Good that the Slayer-Demon is wrong too :) Oh good.. Spike it only speak with 'his' Buffy when answering to her request to be his. But no.. that's bad. She (the Slayer) didn't let him drink, she has holy water there, right? That will make Spike silent indeed and very ill too. ~ And again, looking forward to the next chapter.

You're perfect with your cliffhangers *gg* Now I'll cross my fingers that Buffy's plan will work. The slayer didn't now that Buffy's mark didn't hurt him so much without Buffy in her own body. ~ Loved the chapter! Looking forward to read on (Well, cliffhanger!) :) I wonder what Dawn can do. Author's Response: okay....there's quite a bit that's not supposed to be fully revealed yet....but there is a reason why his acceptance is not reallya problem, may actually help...remember earlier it was stated that a mating claim is more powerful than any other claim...therefore he is mated to buffy...and with buffy not with the slayer at the moment...the slayer's claim is basically pointless... i hope that helps a little, and future chapters should too :)

Want to say straight up - I LOVE THIS TALE! It's totally awesome, however, I hope and pray your next update will be the culmination of the Plan Buffy has been plotting with Spike via their bond because, honestly, if I have to read any more of the evil torture done by that EBSD, I think I might be physically ill - that's how much your tale is affecting me (which again proves his awesomeness!). I've been SO PISSED OFF and so TEARY-EYED and so IN AWE OF Spikes ability to "take a lickin' and keep on tickin'" in this tale and it's all due to your incredible imagination and creativity. (So have I buttered you up enough to get a non tortury chapter of the PLAN working?) I truly love it and I know you'll write what you need to to get it out, I just hope my stomach and heart can take it! Thanks SO MUCH for sharing your wicked-fantastic talent!
