Oh dear, don't apologize! RL can be a very demanding b**** but there aren't many things you can't do about it especially when it's unexpected! Take your time and don't worry about people waiting for this baby we won't abandon you!
Now for this update: while I was so glad to see Riley go, I think I am happier that Buffy finally realized what she had done to Spike (at first I was like WTF is he doing here? lol) though I would have had preferred that she hadn't set up her phone... And I really hope that this would get her off whatever train that makes her think that she's a whore and make her see that she needs to call Spike! But looks like you're planning on torturing us (and her) a bit more. After all you did warn in the beginning that this wouldn't be a fluffy story.
Ah well, see you whenever you can, I'll be waiting! ;-)

You do what you need too hon, sounds as if you're quite busy. I'm glad Buffy finally sees what she did. Now I only hope she DOES something about it. So Buffy thinks she didn't anything wrong to Spike and then she dreams what she did with reversed roles and she doesn't like what Spike does in her dream? But I think now she no longer denies that she did a bad thing to William. I wonder what she'll do now with the knowledge? ~ Take care hon! yay!!!!!!!!! rileys gone!!!!!!!!!!! i love this story and am so happy u updated. i really hope that spike leaves harmony and that he goes back to buffy and they work things out. im glad things didnt work out with riley and i cant believe that he was such a jerk. i also really hope that buffy doesnt do anything stupid and that she sees that shes not a whore. please update as soon as u can, i cant wait to read more and see wat happens next. thanx

*he was falling in love with a girl who was so down on herself that she was determined to break his heart just so he'd agree with her* The crux of this story in one short sentence. Just beautiful. I'm having a huge emotional reaction to this story simply because this is what real people do. It's irrational, illogical and just plain messy...but it's what humans do. We will set out to kill a perfectly good chance at happiness if it means we don't have to deal with the fear of disappointment and hurt. Sometimes misery is the safer option and it's fear that drives us all. Anyone who complains that Buffy should 'get over it and give Spike a chance' probably hasn't felt that sort of pain and fear yet. You're doing a fantastic job with this one Suzee. I'm with you 100%.

Yippee! Riley's gone and he didn't "get any" either! Thanks for not keeping him in the picture for too long and for not making me suffer through a love scene with him! Yuk - the only love scenes I like with Riley are if he's getting forced to provide sexual favors for someone who is using him sadistically (damn, I've got issues don't I).
