OMG... Sam is really bitchy, isn't she? Before this I thought she was a bit ok of a person, but now... *shakes head* I gave her the benefit of the doubt, but enough. She's truly bitchy.

Another great update from you Brat... though I noticed a slight gap between your usual updates, which was usually daily. Hope everything's going alright with you.

Ah! That was too short! i knew it was going to end before the conversation with Sam but I kept hoping that the paragraphs would magically appear. i will be biting my nails until the next update. I'm glad to see him changing though.

Thanks for another great update! I hope we're about to see more Spuffiness but it looks like Spike is going to have to deal with a difficult Sam first. I never did like the goody goddy Sam character on BtVS so I'd really love it if Buffy (or Spike) gets to "slay" her in this fic!

Great update -- Though, poor, confused & confusing Buffy-- She wanted him a little bit ago in the bed, but now she doesn't want him? She loves him,.but she doesn't want to love him? I just love the way you write Spike's calm confidence-- I know that you can make him love her! Can't wait for more!

there just might be a chance for him after all to find that man he seemed to hidden so long ago with all the crap in his life before........he's right he's going to have to prove to her he DOES love her in the "I'm in love with you" kinda way......and that she can trust him to be more hen a friend and not betray her the first chance he gets.....GREAT chapter.......of him starting on his road to finding Wiliam.......

Interesting chapter. I don't know how i feel about Buffy's statement. I mean, I like that she told him what is going on with her and i like that she told him that he hurt her.... but I don't like the fact that she lied to him. She is in love with him, I thought, and in more than a platonic way. Hmm.... jury's out on this one.

This does, however, mean that this chapter was incredibly wel written. You took the story to an amazing place here and I have to admit that I am really excited to see where this is going to go. Oh, and sorry about writing a book in response- it was just a really moving chapter.

Sorry I haven't reviewed lately but well it has been nuts here lately. I can totally see where Buffy is coming from right now. She has seen him at his worst and knows everything he has done wrong in the past so how can she not be wary of jumping into a relationship that is more than friends.

I love how you have Spike so understanding of what Buffy is feeling 'cause we all know Spike can be a bit testy at times, LOL! This is a great fic Brat and I can't wait to see how you finally get these two crazy kids together. Kuddos!

I am very pleased with the way this all unfolded..Spike should definately have to work for this. That is going to be the only way that he can truly change the way that he is. I believe you CAN teach a old dog new tricks..it just takes a hell of a lot of work.. ; )

One thing stood out about Buffy though..something that she may eventually have to work on herself . She is very insecure, at least as far as Spike is concerned..

I think it was clear that she felt like anything that Spike feels for her is only transference of what he is going through. She seems to believe that a needy Spike is the only one that could be in love with her. .......Though in this instance I do believe she was in the right to keep from falling into a relationship with Spike..It could be a problem later on when Spike is truly ready for a REAL relationship. I guess we'll see.. I am so looking forward to seeing what happens with Sam and Alicia next!
