Haha...I just love Buffy's character in this. She's not weak or dumb and Very funny! I'm glad they've made it okay so far. I hope it works out well some more. Update soon please!

Another fun chapter. Spike giving Buffy tips about the paparazzi was priceless, and I love that Buffy's inner feminist was "scratching to get out." This party is going to be entertaining.

OMG i bet its harmony. i love this story and am so happy u updated. im really happy that things are working out so far and that shes thinking about moving closer to him. i really hope that everything stays good and that they stay together. also i hoep that buffy isnt frightened by all the attention hes getting and doesnt leave him. please update as soon as u can, i cant wait to find out how he jinxed it. thanx

Great chapter, I love how protective Spike is of Buffy and how he worked the crowd.....although I will be happy to see when he proclaims to the world that they are really together, and that he is no longer on the prowl. Can't wait to see what happens next....and thanks

As always, thrilled to see you'd updated! I like the "morning after" going smoothly-- truly the foundation of a great relationship if she thinks of him as her best friend. And yes, stupid/stubborn Buffy having to tempt fate with the "How bad can it be?" attitude. I hope it's not so horrible-- We can't have *too* much unhappy Spuffy. I'd like them to see she can fend for herself and maybe even protect him some, too. Can't wait til they are ready to add the next "layer" either!

Just discovered this story today and read it all in one sitting. Honestly, I had seen it posted before and was a little leery of the idea, but once I gave it a chance, I was hooked and kicking myself for not doing so earlier. It is apparent that you have really invested yourself in developing these characters, especially Spike with all his contradictions. I also love Sam and Alicia. I was so happy when you had Spike begin to turn around, I wanted to do a happy dance but restrained myself. Now I can't wait for this celebrity ball they're going to - will that be in the next chapter, pretty please? I'm anxious to see how Buffy proves herself to herself, to Spike, and to everyone else when they're under the spotlight.. Those two are so perfect for each other, and your fic really highlights that, so kudos and keep up the great work. Please update soon!!

I really wish that this "test" was something that Buffy will find a piece of cake. No big deal..But I have a feeling that it will end up being an ordeal. My only hope is that Buffy is able to take it with a grain of salt..and will look at it as something that will take some time getting use to.

Like they say.."Nothing worth having comes easy" Just hope Buffy keeps reminding herself of that. I am loving protective Spike..I have a feeling any hard time that Buffy will have, will hurt him just as bad if not worse.. Great update!

Yep, me thinks that she jinxed it. He's going to be feeding her to the wolves...lol! But I'm sure she can handle it. At least he tried to warn her. This is part of being with him.
