Well, a nicer, gentler side to both Angelus and Darla. I half thought they'd just laugh it off and let Buffy try to rescue him on her own. Guess blood is thicker than water.
Author's Response: I'm not sure I'd exactly call it a kinder gentler side, but yes, I think you're right, blood is pretty thick among vampires. Plus they both want the Initiative gone themselves.

Author's Response: Thanks so much. As for the vamps, they may be evil, but they're still family. I don't tend to follow the view that Spike is more human than other vamps, I just think he's more open about it. And it's in all their self interest to stop the Initiative as soon as possible.

Another unexpected turn! I didn't think that Spike would be in time to get Buffy back; but he met her again and they were talking. I looked to me as if he had convinced her. Duh.... that's bad! Spike as a prisoner. They love to get vampires chips way too much. I wonder what they'll do with him. Hopefully they'll get him back before he gets a chip. The Initiative thinks Buffy is a victim...
