Wonderful. The narrative is so well paced and constructed. And, Velvet is dust. I'm not surprised that Riley escapes, much as I would like to see him suffer, I'd like to see Spike excact a little of his own revenge eventually.

Buffy's attitude towards Spike and her own behaviour is both understandable and gratifying. Now, let the healing begin! Please?

Oh, and just so you know, this is the first story I look for each day -- love it. Brava.

I just caught up with this story, and I gotta tell ya; it's really hard to read, emotionally that is. Don't get me wrong though, it's an amazing story. Highly addicting as well. It just breaks my heart to see the position Spike is in. I can't even put it into words really... Well, I'll just keep this short and let you know that this is extremely well written, one of those stories that you just can't stop reading. Looking forward to more. =)

This was a good chapter and I am glad that Buffy has left the loser Riley and has her strength back, but I didn't like how she said she was taking her slave (Spike) with her. I am hoping that she will be nicer to Spike as well as the Scoobies.
