Author's Response: LOL The funny part is that the dialogue you quoted is something I've said before in real life and really wanted to use in a fic sometime;) There will definitely be more interacting between William and Buffy in the next chapter. I hope you continue to like the fic!

I figured they would have said more to each other before they met so she could get an understanding of what he was like and then be shocked at how different he is. Oooohhh I love it! I knew I like AU stories for a reason - it opens up so many possible scenarios.

You know, it's funny. When I read the part where Buffy and Anya commented William looked "frail" with brown hair and so on... suddenly I pictured Buffy meeting William for the first time but he's already Spike (blonde hair, all swagger and attitude). And Buffy would be shocked. That'll be nice, heheh...
