It's great to have Giles' character fleshed out. You did a good job keeping him in voice and painting a kind, nurturing adult. His comment about how ghastly the Underwoods are actually brought a smile amidst all the drama. William may be jumping to the wrong conclusions, but you also did a good job making his jump plausible. Conflict makes story more involved and realistic, and you're making it very entertaining.

Thank you.. the quick updates make the angst much more bearable. Great chapter... although I wish William wasn't such a giver-upper (so eloquent aren't I?) It was very nice to see how Giles was behaving with Buffy. THAT'S the Giles that most authors don't quite capture in fanfic. I LOVE it.

Yes, this is sad but I'm glad about this chapter...Giles is so sweet and now Buffy doesn't have to go, yay :). I'm sure it'll be more angst before they get back together because they're young and have issues to work for, but I really love this story and hey, the longer the better. Looking forward to more.

Great chapter...I love the interaction between Buffy and Giles. The part where Giles actually called Cecily's mom and threatened to take them to court was priceless. I look forward to Buffy and William's reconciliation, but until then, I am enjoying the angst.

This was a really good chapter. Even though it was sad, I still loved it. And I'm very glad that Giles and Buffy are bonding. Can't wait for more.

Reading this and the chapter before just makes my heart hurt for them. I don't mind some angst. After all, no love is 100% roses. However, I'm glad that it will be short-lived. I like my Spuffy together and kissy, not apart and miserable. Great writing! Please update again soon!
