Hmm can't understand how ppl can complain about the angst? I mean stuff like this makes the story fuller and richer to read, a complete happy sexathon would be pretty boring to read in the long run atleast to me :)

I like this chapter alot, I can't wait to see how you get them toghether again (I assume u will :)) but I can wait and just keep reading the chapters as they come, I'm in no hurry.

Thank you for the update. I have thoroughly enjoyed this story from the very first chapter! Darn but those were some hot sex scenes... And for what it's worth, I didn't think it was getting too angsty at all.

I also really liked how authentic your characterizations have been. I thought the conflict between Buffy and William was both inevitable (considering their respective insecurities) and well written. I almost hate to think the story is about ready to end... Thank you for sharing this story with us...

Longer, well, I don't think that's ever been a bad thing. And as sad as it was, that little bit into Buffy's mindset, especially about relationships was very useful to explaining were she is coming from. Another great chapter.

"He sighed, realizing that Buffy could probably get him to do just about anything—anytime and anyplace."--I love how naughty she can make him be, and how he is becoming a more confident individual because of this little horny neighbor of is. I love it, f-word and all.

I'm not one to shy away from noting grievous flaws in the execution of a work, but I am dead serious about the right of an author to tell their story their way - be that angst, fluff, long, short, pairing, whatever. Your story, we just get to read it, we don't get to tell you what to write about. When reviewers say things about how Spike shouldn't be so bad, he would never hurt Buffy like that, or whine because the chapters aren't going the way they want them too I want to scream. Addie, I'm with you. Tell your story, not someone else's idea of what your story should be. Fortunately you are one of the better writers out there so I'm always glad when a new story comes out from you. I can just sit back and enjoy the ride to whereever you're taking us, and not bump against strange grammar and bizaare spelling issues. Frankly, it's a relief. And I'm not saying this because I love angst (because I really do like conflict and angst in the stories I read,makes em more interesting to me), but I'm thrilled with the angst here. Just for the record. Writers tend to lose me right around 'and they all lived happily ever after, etc' :)

I'm not sure if i was one to offend you, and if i did then i appoligize. I absolutly love this fic and the direction it has taken. i would love to see them get back together which i'm sure will inevidably happen but the story does need to progress before that can happen and i understand that. Please don't be discouraged by what people have to say and just enjoy what you are writing because it is amazing. I hope this cheers you up a little and I can't wait for the next chapter! You rock!!

Really glad Buffy's life really seems to be changing for her in England. Glad she's finally finding out what it's like to have really family and friends and what all. Also glad William's mother knew and didn't freak out about things. -lol- Very cool. I *loved* Cecily's expulsion! That was sheer genius! Absolutely amazing. This story just keeps getting better and better. Just waiting to see what twists come with the Spuffy relationship now. Can't wait till William finds out Angel's been out of the pic for a while and that Buffy's staying after the year. *g*

I love that the angst in this story is giving Buffy and Giles the arena to develop and really genuine relationship. I love that. Also... I love Cecliy being expelled in such a perfect manner. I also like that William's mom has admitted to knowing about his relationship. Maybe she will be able to talk some sense into him.

Thank you for writing that chapter. As I was one of those girls that was constantly harrassed . In my case I didn't do anything to cause my problems, but I didn't help them.

Cecily just reminded me of all those people who did things to me. But unlike my life she didn't get away with it. That chapter just made me feel a lot better.

And for the record, I have been reading every chapter as you have been posting them. I just haven't been posting replies. I'm bad like that.
