Don't let those 'verbally repetitive' people get you down, you have a great story and I'm always happy to find a new chapter. The longer it is, the longer I can enjoy reading it :-)

Great chapter, loved seeing Cecily get what was coming to her. If she's truly seen the error, or at least consequences, of her ways and is no longer in the story I'll kinda miss her, she was a fantastic villain. Normally I'd comment that your chacterisations are fantastic (they are, you've won me over to William fics) or you do a great job with dialogue (which flows really well and seems very natural) but you write the whole story so well I don't know which areas to focus on for praise. I love this story and it always brightens my day.
Regarding the complainers, my psych and human development courses suggest that children learn that other people have feelings and that they are not in fact the centre of the unvierse at around three years of age. Clearly the complainers have not progessed emotionally beyond that age and are therefore to immature to appreciate your efforts, your story or your brilliance. Ignore them as best you can and remember that for every complainer you've got ten people who love your story even if they don't remember to review for every chapter

You're not unappreciated, it is probably just horny teenageers with nothing else to hounding you, and if it is not, they are sad. Such drama in this fandom, can't go a month anywhere without people causing problems by hounding authors. It is not like they spend money to read your story. And it is not that hard to stop reading. I love all your storires, and if I didn't I wouldn't read. Ignore the crazies!

Hah, take that Cecily, you nasty little bitca! *spits* LOL. Might I just take a moment to express my complete and utter adoration of this story? Great, great job. And sorry to have to read those last three paragraphs - it's a shame that a few people can't appreciate an amazing story when they see it. This fic was only intended to be a few chapters long, and yet you gave the readers that were already loving this fic a lot extra by making the story longer than originally intended, and yet a couple of those same readers turn around and express dissatisfaction because there's a few chapters of angst. That doesn't make any sense to me. This story has very light angst compared to many others I've read, and besides, I think angst can serve to make a story more complex and interesting, and can make for a better developed plotline, as is happening with this story. I hate it when readers try to convince the author to change their work to suit them (believe me, I know, I write fanfic myself) I mean, where's the faith people? I know you're going to make things right with this fic (and between Buffy and Spike) when you feel the time is right, and I will continue reading until this fic comes to a close. I can't express how much I love this story and how impressed I am with your writing. I love the William characterization, the naughty Buffy, the amazingly hot smut, and now the angst and tears. It's been great, as I'm sure it will continue to be, and I can't wait to read more of this wonderful fic :)

I had to write even though I haven't read this part yet. I tend to print out the stories I read so I can read them during my son's down time during the day (when I should be doing housework!) Anyway while I was getting ready to print the chapter I noticed Your comments and I have to send my support. I wish I had the talent and imagination to write such wonderful stories. I have read several of yours, mostly on BSDiaries but I have always enjoyed them and this one is no exception. As a reader I am grateful to those of you who wite, and write well! I trust your judgment and know that the story will continue to be satisfying. The readers that complain should just stop reading because I know I wouldn't want to risk losing a good author over their complaints. If they have such strong feelings they should feel free to write their own stories and we can review them!

I'm one of those angst lovers. It kills me every time, and I may act like a big drama queen, but it sure keeps me coming back for more. You are definitely a master at it! Great to see Cecily get what was coming to her! Karma is a bitch! I also loved how William couldn't pull the wool over his mother's eyes. That was a great scene! I sure hope she and Giles are conspiring! Wonderful, hopeful little chapter! Thanks for the quick update. :-)

It is really so very sad that you had to write the last 3 paragraphs. It breaks my heart that anyone would try to direct a writer's story to suit themselves. I like both sweet fluffy tales and dark angsty tales and with all the wonderful fanfiction out there involving Spuffy - there is really no need to "blackmail" or bitch at an author because you don't like the direction they take their tale... and there are plenty of authors out there who ask people to please give them ideas on how they want the tale to unfold so there's something for everyone out there. Good for you Addie for sticking to your guns and writing what you want the way you want it - you have MANY MANY fans out there and you are by far one of the most talented authors I have every read (and I'm talking worldwide - not just Spuffydom). I place your tales right up there with my other fav professionally published authors like Christen Feehan, Stephen King AND Joss Whedon! You TOTALLY ROCK and even though I ADORE the Spuffy-smut and Spuffy-cuddles - I also ADORE your stories... angst and all! Keep em coming in traditional Addie Logan style! As long as I have internet access - I will be a SATISFIED, WELL ENTERTAINED fan of your MARVELOUS WRITING STYLE and WELL THOUGHT OUT TALES!
