Excellent point that Buffy just wanted to hurt Angel by confessing that he's not Lindsey's father - I'm glad Spike nipped that in the bud. Spike's admission that he's always loved Buffy was heartfelt, but what does Buffy feel for him?

God I love it when Spike is being all manly...LOL He is going to make her see the truth no matter what...Now I don't want Angel to come back...f**k him. You don't run out on your wife and kid like that...coward and why come back it wasn't like he was a good husband to begin with...cheating bastard. Yes, I know Buffy did her dirt too...she's in the wrong as well but if she wasn't happy then she should see it as a way to start over with the man God intended her to be with...Its so obvious and Spike has been explaining it in so many different ways. Buffy is so damn stubborn...drove me crazy in the Buffyverse and still driving me crazy in fanfiction but she wouldn't be Buffy if she didn't...LOL Thanks for the quick update...looking forward to more

Yeah! A Breakthrough! It was nice to read a chapter without major anger and fighting. Spikes words to Buffy were so beautiful, so heartfelt, just wonderfully written. This chapter was a pleasure to read, and it's really hooked me in to this story. Can't wait to see what happens next. Hope Buffy officially dumps Angel's ass! I know he left, but the girl needs to get over him!

I have to say that this is a hard one to read. To see Buffy not in love with Spike or not even in an advesarial relationship is very difficult. It so focused on Angel right now, and Angel is such a frustrating character on a good day. I can't even see how they'll ever be together in love on, especially on her side. Saying that, this is such a beautifully written story. I really am invested in these characters and care about what happen to them. The last chapter was especially heartbreaking. I am hooked and will keep coming back for more.
