Just read this up to date and I love it. I'm really intrigued by the idea of Buffy without a soul, but with human memories. Would that make her life our beloved Spike? Hmmmm...

i thought that was a very nice job of begging lol. But i know what you mean...i've become a bit of a review whore myself lol. when you finally stop writing in a vacuum and people are actually reading your stuff, well you want feedback. It's great. Can't wait to hear Giles' reaction. Keep it coming...maybe longer chapters? There's nothing wrong with shorter chapters, and I tend to write tight as well...but the more the better.

Author's Response: Zoe - absolutely with the reviewing :) I like to know what people are thinking when they've read something I wrote, if only so I can get better, get inspired or clarify things for folks. Thanks for taking the time, and longer chapters...well, the episodes kinda go for as long as they want to go, covering the things I feel should be explored, with convenient breaks where I think the next part can go. Some they be long, some they be short, lol! But it's great to know you guys want more...

I'm really enjoying your energized, angry, sensuous Buffy. The plot is intriguing and the scenes are rich in details and good dialogue. Spike's reaction to Buffy is wonderful - he's attracted to her dark side, but he wants to save her from it, too. I'm looking forward to Drusilla's intrusion on Buffy and Spike's new "relationship." Buffy has a lot of issues with Dru's man-stealing ways, I'm sure she'll be happy to share some of her more aggressive thoughts!

Oh man this chapter was great! Im so happy that we are starting to get an idea of what is going on with Buffy... no soul... changed somehow, this is getting very interesting. Would love another Spuffy session though, and if she is stronger than usual and doesnt have to worry about things like she did in the past then that could be a very interesting and intense moment between her and Spike... Hahaha I cant freakin' wait! Keep them coming please! -Ashley-

Uh-huh.. Dru is coming for Spike? ... Oh .. I'm at the end of the chapter. Pity... I could read on. So Buffy is something more as a slayer. But wtih the absorbing blood thing - I'm not sure I know what's going on. If she is a revenge demon. And Spike will call Giles? Looking eagerly forward to see this!

Bethmara... Cool name. I like it. The whole encounter was beyond steamy. Great choice of song, it was perfect for the scene.
