Nice to see that Riley did neither know it was Dawn's birthday nor her age thinking that Buffy lives with Dawn he should have known I think. I'm glad though that Buffy doesn't want to start a relationship with Riley again. Mmm - Spike saw them.

Author's Response: not knowing about Dawn's birthday or her age was just my way of showing how unimportant she was to him. he never really struck me as someone who really had Dawn's best interests in mind. He's definitely no Spike

Jeez, stalker much...lol! Now he's watching her house, I would be worried about that. Well, I'm glad Buffy just decided to be Riley's friend. I hope that's all it is, cause I don't mind him when he's just a friend. I have to admit, that was a really stupid reason to leave and join the army. I can't believe he still thought he could get back with her after that. I'm really into this story, hope you have more soon=)

No, Riley being brought into the picture is usually a bad thing. I hope he doesn't ruin things. He has a lot of nerve coming back after leaving her three years ago. I hope she doesn't consider getting back with him. I'm still interested in this story and can't wait to see what happens next=)
