Author's Response: I know it has been a few years, but I wanted to let you know that I posted Chapter 16 tonight. Chapter 17 is finished but not posted. Also, chapter 18 is in the works. So, Twists of Fate is well on it's way to being completed.

Great story, I really like the Cecily story. The Dawn origin is original, and I look foward to the next chapter

Author's Response: Thank you. I wanted to try to find a little way for Cecily to redeem herself to Spike. I'm glad that you liked what I did. I'm also glad that you enjoy my Dawn twist on her origins. It always just struck me as the perfect way for her genetics to go. I know it has been a few years, but I wanted to let you know that I posted Chapter 16 tonight. Chapter 17 is finished but not posted. Also, chapter 18 is in the works. So, Twists of Fate is well on it's way to being completed.

I really like the Anya dialogue

Author's Response: Thank you. Sometimes it is so hard to get the right feel for each character. Although I handled non-canon stories, I do like to keep the characters as spot on as possible within the new storylines. I'm glad that I got Anya right for you. {Smiles}

This story has enthralled me. I really love VampBuffy and Spike's reaction to her. Love Tara and Dawn eing supportive and Xander's acceptance that all is not black and white. Love Buffy kicking Angel's butt. Can't wait to see what happens with Willow, Faith and everyone.

Athenewolfe and I had worked really hard on each chapter that was posted several years ago. I hope that you will like the new chapters that are now being released. Author's Response: Although it was left dormant for several years, Twists of Fate has not been completely abandoned. Duty or Destiny hasn't been abandoned either. Chapter 16 of Twists of Fate is now up at the Spuffy Realm and my web site. More from Duty or Destiny and Living for Love will also be coming.

Hmmm, Dawn not related to Buffy, after all, eh? Who's genetic material does she have? Spike's? They do both have fair skin and blue eyes, and naturally brown(ish) hair. So, when do they get to find out what Giles knows?

Bloody hell is Giles mad, thinking he can just take Dawn away without a word to Buffy? Thank god she's safely hidden away. I can't wait for everyones reaction to Buffys new status. Update soon.

I liked this chapter. I know that Giles doesn't fully know what is going on so I can't be completely mad with him, but to try and take Dawn out of the country with him... I dunno, the council to me doesn't seem all that trustworthy. I loved the ending of that chapter... can't wait to see how the next one will start ;) ahaha. Keep up the great work!!
