Oh, I would rather her be with spike and have a chance then with Angelus and be torn apart.......that was the differenct between Spike and Angelus.......Angelus loved to torture, Spike tortured only if needed......Spike had the patience to take care of Dru that Angelus never had....he enjoyed breaking her.....

hmmm, going to second chapter, but thought I would say this is an original concept so far.....with the killing of Joyce this way and the usaully Angel usage of Parker. I'm whiling to give it a go, just on that alone.......I hope not much more really aweful things happen to Buffy.......after her mother, I"m sure she is already on the verge of going over the edge......
Author's Response: I'm glad you gave it a chance! Yea, the Joyce thing was very traumatic, but I wanted to give a big reason for her to run away, plus an internal battle for Buffy right from the beginning. She's really being put to test! Thanks for the review :)

I like this. I know Spike is a bastard right now, but the fun part is seeing what and how he changes. I can't wait to see if you show us the actual fight or not. The scene in the beginning with Buffy, Parker, and Joyce was incredible. Very moving. Great chapter again!
Author's Response: Oh yes, bastard Spike is lots of fun! I mean, everyone knows I'll make it right in the end, but it just depends on if ppl can handle getting there. I am planning on showing the fight. I'd have to have a very good reason to change my mind. I'm glad you liked the Joyce scene! I have to focus a lot to make it intense, so thanks! and for the review too!

Oh my god, poor Buffy! The scene where Parker runs her mom over just floored me. Wonderful, angst-filled beginning. I love your dramatization of LA. Never been there, but I think this darker view of it enhances the dramaticism you are trying to build. I can't wait to see what happens to Buffy!

The only reason I chose to say L.A., was because I needed a name for the city - otherwise, it's my own creation (except the bum which really does happen! lol). Poor Buffy :-( And idiot Parker (there aren't enough bad things I can say about him). I'm glad Spike will make an appearance in the next chapter, although I'm a little more interested in how evil you're going to make Angelus :-) And how Buffy will test both of them LOL! I'm glad you said the girl was Drusilla at the end, because at first I thought it was Faith (with the leather). Excellent chapter- very worth the looooong wait from when you told me about the idea :-P
