This sounds like fun, looking forward to more. Like how Spike fits in that picture. (But I would recommend a beta because Spell check doesn't get everything. I notice this myself with what I write here.)

I like it, it's a good start and makes me interested in reading further. :)

I advice you to find yourself a beta-reader though. There are some typos in your story that steal away the attention.

ex: 'there' when it should be 'their'.
