I really like how Wes took control of the situation with Dawn. I have to say, I've always like Wes' character - especially after the whole geeky brainiac phase. OK...even that was a little hot. :) Another fantastic update. :)

Spawn. *snicker* Well, I'm sure you'll find this quite surprising, but I loved the chapter. The part with Buffy and Spike made me tear up. The whole thing from the two of them with the baby to her declaration at the end. Just beautiful. I also really liked how you had Anya in this chapter and her response to Dawn's feelings of guilt. So many people fail to show Anya with any emotions, and the way you have her in this fic is a breath of fresh air. (Even if you are ignoring the truest love ever... LOL) Looking forward to the next chapter as always!

Squee! Wonderful Nia! I just adored all the interaction between Buffy and Spike, with the cute little Connor between them. I could just see it perfectly. And Buffy's mental analysis of whether to take the risk and open herself up even more to Spike was just incredible. You pointed out everything that Spike had done in the past year, good or bad, and left Buffy finding him worthy. Yay! The way she told him that her heart was in his hands was the most moving thing I have ever seen in this story. It really rivals the moment when she told him he had his crumbs. Just so powerful and so moving. You brought tears to my eyes. I loved every moment of this chapter, from the quiet moments with Oz to Wes comforting Dawn. Really spectacular, Nia. I can't wait to see what Spike says about Buffy's disclosure of her feelings. And I can't wait to see Dawn's reaction when she finds out Spike is doing so much better.

And, I love Wes and his pragmatic approach to things. I can't wait to see what happens next! I squee with delight after whenever I see a new chapter posted!

Gods, Nia, the things you just did to me!!! You are just... brilliant... wonderful... effulgent! This was just breathtaking, sweetie, from first to last. All of the Scoobie bits were just perfect--the interactions struck just the right balance of tension and affection and humor and gallows humor and so so much more that I'm too damned looped from the Spuffy stuff to think of, but yeah... awesome! And Wes and Dawn... such a perfect little talk. *pets them* They're so cute when they're them... and when Dawn's not being shrill. Not that you make her shrill ever, but we saw WAY too much shrieking!Dawn to ever take for granted how nice it is for her to be rational and mature. And my brain is all scrambled from Baby Love, but I want Wes/Dawn smoochies! Can I start a write-in campaign? And the Spuffy.... Oh god the squee that echoed off these four little Brooklyn walls could damn well have caused a noise complaint! Because Spike and Buffy and a baby and Buffy wishing the baby was theirs OUT LOUD and then with the confession of love and... GAHHH! See... looped. And so so so buzzed. And worshipping at your altar right about now. You SO rock. So that's all the blather for now... I'm off to write porn in my now overly-perky state of mind... so if my bondage comes out fluffy it's all your fault, but in the best possible way. Awesome chap! *hugs*

*reaches for the tissues* for all the gods Nia god damn that rocked with emotions. Oz being the one to say let's go and get things going. Buffy telling Spike, "should of been ours". Spike thinking of all the things that he had done for Buffy and why and what she gave him return. Then she tells him "her heart is in his hands" *water works central*. OMG how fuckn sweet is that, that is like better than "i love you" anyday. Your transitions from scene to scene are insane...gahhhhhh get me and then twist me to something else..LOVE IT!!!!!!!. Anya trying to be her capitalist self but knows full well she will help out. Poor Dawn just trying to figure things out. Wes how awesome is he using the logic to help Dawn. Wes being the caregiver at the moment. How tender. The sun is setting though and I feel trouble brewing so huge that they need to get in gear and get the protection done. After that chapter Willow can turn into a toad, Spike's True self...well take that bitch. He is more of man than ever. Excellent chapter. emotional upheaval. LOVE IT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This story just keeps getting better and better! I love how Oz and tara are getting along so well and how there is a little "thing " that seems to be developing b/n Wes and Dawn. The scene w/Buffy and Spike w/the baby was breathtaking and I can't wait to see Spike's reaction to Buffy openning her heart to him! Please update soon!

"Something else might have happened..." Oh Wes, if only you knew. Dawn is going to be beyond pissed once Willow's role in all of this is revealed. BTW, what's happening with her? I want to see what her true face is. I just have a feeling it's not red-headed innocence any longer. I loved the Buffy and Spike bonding. I'm so glad she was able to admit the truth to him. Yet another wonderful part.
