Damn, that was hot! Even if it wasn't consensual, which considering the circumstances isn't that surprising, Buffy isn't going to give in that easily after all that's happened between them. I liked the control that William has over his beast and how he kept trying to calm her enough as to not provoke it to appear, until that last part where I guess it was needed. You're doing a great job with this story, I can't wait to see what else you have in store for us. Hope RL eases up on you soon.

Hee! I adored Buffy's conversation with her inner slut. It was so fun! I loved the whole chapter. You know it kinda haves a magical feeling to it, at least by Spike's reaction to her. It just seemed right, like it was meant to happen. I'm enjoying very much the pacing of the story, it gives the characters the space to grow and it gives us the space to get to know them better. Can't wait to read more of it. :D

Hee, good thing I got behind with my reading or it would have been torture to wait for the next chapter. ;) Loved your descriptions, it makes me feel like I'm watching the story, rather than reading it. Very enjoyable first encounter, I'm loving how she is afraid, but can't stop her body's reactions to Spike and how Spike's acting isn't so much acting, as he seems to be incapable to stop thinking of her of something more than just a job. Gah! That was so hot and wow! If that's the appetizer I can't wait for the main entrée. Loving the pacing, loving the inner thoughts, the little backstory on William and how he turned into Spike. I adored Lorne's talk with William about what he read on Buffy's singing and his warning that it could be dangerous for him. Judging by William's thoughts, I wouldn't be surprised she would pose a danger to his heart, but judging by her thoughts, I'm hoping they'll find a way to get over this and find each other in the middle. I wanted to be sure that whether consciously or not, Spike wants to be sure he STAYS in Buffy's mind permanently, b/c well, he's not going to want her in bed with any one else. Yup, had to be somewhat cryptic in Lorne's speech. Plus Lorne's being cryptic on purpose too. You have a good grip on where the story is going, but it won't be an easy road - hey, angst here. Damned hot is what this chapter is, especially that last part. It doesn't matter how many times I read it, it's still wonderful. Funny, loving, hot. I just loved the misleading scene with the bleaching of his hair, the little glimpse into what their everyday life will be, the Lornya (you know I did love it from the moment I saw the possibility of it), and that last scene, god it was divine.
