You know I've had this theory. First noticed it in the first part of origins and then it is sorta becoming less nebulos in this one. Now bear in mind that I don't peak ahead so if this actually happens then I still get to crow that I knew way beforehand.
Ther are tendencies that Giles is going to take Xander's place in Anya's life. He comforts her and just involves her in discussions instead of disavowing everything she says. They never really exploited her knowledge after all bar the mayor's ascension and then later Glory. And here they finally do, realising that precisely because she had a unique viewpoint she can add insightful things, but at the same time allowing her to have real human foibles, like cooing at babies. It's like Xander wants her to be human when it suits him - bed I presume, and more demon -like when it doesn't - like with the baby.

Wow that was a surprise...I didnt expect her to show up so soon. Sorry I havent reviewed in a long time, I dont know how I feel so behind the updates... Anyways... I have noticed in a couple of your last chapters that their has been some missplaced letters in words or missing letters from some words. Also...love the Spuffy smut and conversations because well sex is good smut and fluff is also needed, lol. A couple of questions.. Why do you switch back and forth between using Angel and Angelus? Shouldnt it just be Angelus now? Also...you're not going to kill off Willow are you? What is going to happen to her.. and since she wont do the spell to restore Angels soul are you just going to kill Angel? Cause wouldnt the Powers want their champion to stay alive? Lol, its just like I said before, I hate Angel but I would rather see him broody and acting as a loser than dead. Im just wondering whats going to happen... I guess you will just have to update really soon so I can find out, lol! Update soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Author's Response: My apologies for the mistakes. I don't use a beta and so, at times, catching the misspellings and typos can be a problem. I'll try to be more careful in the future. Hopefully my mistakes won't put anyone off and make them stop reading. Why do I switch back and forth between Angel and Angelus? Because I don't believe they are two separate entities. Souled or unsouled, they are one and the same, and just as I don't make the distinction, neither do some of the characters. What he's called will depend solely on context. Willow's fate, and the fate of Angel/Angelus will depend solely on their actions, and may or may not hinge on each other. I wll reserve comment about Angel being the champion of the PTB for another time and place.

Hot damn! New Revs chappie! Now Giles knows about Dawn and Wes is off to find a demon surgeon. Dawn is having trouble grasping the full measure of her own status-- I don't blame her. I can't imangine what she must be feeling or what it's like to realize she never had those tender bonding moments with her real parents. Not surprising that she experiences moments of jealousy that Connor, despite his being a newborn, is getting what she never had. It's a very natural, very human response. And, oh my, whatever will happen next now that the couple are aware of Dru's presence? Can't wait for the next chapter!

well this isn't good for buffy and spike if drusilla is in the pictue now like they don't have enough problems already.With spike first love back it won't be good for buffy are spike am wondering what happend to her are is it a trap on drusilla part to come between buffy and spike with angel helping her to destroy them both which am thinking yes that she in this with angel.And the plot thicken hmm,love the scene between buffy and dawn it was there first mother and daughter talk loved it.Agine great chapter NIA hope your arm is geting better HUGS

Buffy and Spike as a young pair with a just born baby, all domestic. Dawn (the firstborn in a way) being jealous of the baby. Then, the other giving them time to do something together - they run into Angel and have to fight. I wonder what's about Drusilla. Spike was talking to her and gesturing wildly. - Wonder on which side she will be on. I don't think she'll be on Spike's and the slayer's side. I fear she'll be on Angel's. ANd for the chip coming out - it seems to be more complicated as it did seem to be first. Thanks a bunch for the update!

Great story! I love how you are building up the tension between Giles and Anya, and how you managed to include all the characters in a realistic way. I can't wait to read more.

Aw, I hope there are more of those intimate Dawn, Buffy, and Spike scenes. It's so cool that you made her their daughter. And Angel was actually kinda creepy in this chapter when he called Cordelia...unlike the episode with Wesley, lol. And the lack of any Willow mention is alarming...I wonder what she's planning. =)
