Awe, Addie, it was wonderful! First thanks for the update :) I'm glad Buffy came to her decision to start the relationship with Spike (this is always worth it *smile*). Now I hope they can sort everything out :)) Loved it.

The wait was worth it. The story is great. You are going to be writing more soon, I hope. Still have a couple of lose threads that should be tucked into the story. Can't wait for an update and congrats on graduating.

The whole story was brilliantly written. Relationships do not happen in 20 minutes, especially when the relationship was not a good one to begin with. Sorry, you got flak because Buffy and Spike were not slapping thighs as soon as they saw each other. I really enjoyed to story and hope you keep it up.

Great chapter full of good explanations and breakthroughs. I like that Cordy said Angel was capable of slipping even if his soul is anchored, and Buffy's realization that each "trial" made them weaker. Good too -- the very much needed apology by Giles (which ME seemed to think unnecessary). Funny banter between S&B :).

Love this chapter! Okaaaay. Well, not like I don't love the others too. As always, I adore your style, and I'm enjoying every bit of this story so far. :) Most fanfics go straight to the good parts. But you're not too generous with them, which makes them even better. Anticipating your next chapter. I'm really looking forward to it. ;)

Welcome back and I'm delighted to see a new chapter. I really have enjoyed this story a lot and love the way you've worked through the evolution of the situation. Thanks for the explanation of the Shanshu and why Spike really is the only champion! I really loved the chapter. Spike was chosen above Angel from the PTB, the banter between him and Buffy, Buffy and Cordelia going along well, Buffy summarizing her relationship with Angel, clever Willow leaving them alone, Giles giving their blessings.. Now only Spike has to see that Buffy really loves him. But all good things will come in time, right? Take care.

"Well, yeah. I was deadest."--That whole argument was absolutley priceless! Your muse is an absolute genius. And the speil Cordelia gave... wow, the shanshu being about Spike all along, what an original idea. So obvious and yet, with the many many possibly (easily) hundreds of fanfics I've read, I've never heard before. And after you explained it, it seemed so terribly obvious. Only problem with the whole shanshu... I guess Spike doesn't get to live forever, but I suppose I'll live. Really wonderful, chapter that put together well and had some super new insights. I'll be looking forward to you next update!
