"Let me guess—you were going to let him get a few good killing blows in to throw him off guard before you attacked?" --That is such a fun line, so shoulda been on the show. I always enjoy when Joyce and Rupert get soused, sorta lets you see who they really are. Also, enjoying the juxtaposition between shady info seeking Spike and the one who comes home to Buffy. Great chapter, and though I want more, If its not done b4 Christmas, just one more gift to open after:)

Okay. My new favorite line has to be "I learned not to date Angel." That was so darn good coming out of Buffy like it did! I was also particularly impressed with the whole melt back into the earth demon trick - way cool. I'm worried about poor Spike trying to dredge up information, but I can't wait to see what he finds.

Much loveing of the flustered Giles, who so quickly turns to the "I hate vampires" Giles, who is a bit more annoying. I like to see the two of them having a bit of wholesome time mixed in with the debauchery, gives a better look at the tender before the passionate aspects of their relationship. Another wonderful chapter.

Really dug Spikes speech to Joyce at the beginning. Liked Buffy's speech to spike too. And they finally make up and you have to sneak that plot in there. Well, I guess I can continue...(as if there was ever any doubt:))
