Of all the times to laugh ... Oh man. I know it was a tension release that he couldn't believe, but oh boy. Buffy definitely took it the wrong way. Glad he told her that he loved her before the end of the chapter. Hope they both believe it now. Still waiting to see if Angel really lost his soul or not. Look forward to the next update.

For a big broody guy, Angel sure is weak, but at least he gave Buffy some useful info (hopefully). Can't figure out how he's going to get rid of his soul with Darla no matter how often or how energetically they shag. Hope Buffy and Spike can work out this claim business - now that she has some info, maybe everything will be OK. Don't like the fact that Glory knows there's "someone new" in the group. More please.

Well, I'd be inclined to think that both Darla and Angel will be disappointed, but, really I have no idea what's coming next. Though I am really quite ready to find out what kind of talk Buffy and Spike have. Buffy understands all the ins and outs, but hey, I wouldn't mind being enlightened either. Don't know what all the fuss is about - I wouldn't mind biting Spike a time or two (or being bitten by him!). This chap made me laugh many times (Anya "poor excuse for a penis"! Really, I do wonder what Angel was thinking by gnawing on Spike's side. That just seems weird. Also have to say, the whole bit of Spike drinking with Giles, was just priceless, though I have trouble imagining Giles giggling like a girl. I really do hope those two talk out all of the problems their having. Maybe Anya can interject something helpful about penises. And about the cats... people do weird things to get pure breds. Would make the world a much better place if people just got their animals from the shelters... is a good thing when you save a life... though mine keeps trying to walk across my keyboard... My, all of that impassioned talking and logic, and in the end it comes down to the fact that Buffy cannot handle being wrong. But these things do take time, and sometimes, you even need breaks from the one you love most in the world. I love the way that Anya, Tara, and Giles are characterized in this entire piece, and especially this chapter... And I am really beginning to enjoy the Drac/Glory relationship and the fact that it is so unbelievably disfunctional that they would probably do better trying to defeat the slayer on their own.... But, we all do prefer when the villians fall and the white hats ride off into the sunset together in their fabulous deSoto. Another wonderful chapter. Update soon!
