I was wondering about this fic, i think I would wait until you are done. I will probably re read the last chapter or two when the new chapters post just to refresh so I would rather refresh once knowing there will be more than get pulled in again and be missing the story for months.

Love the fic! I hope you feel better soon! Vet school sound hard but rewarding! I'm pleased as all the rest that you aren't abdoning the fic! Update when you can and I can wiath until you are ready to post the whole thing. It will be great to start from the begining and read the whole thing through to the end!

Ultimately, since you are the writer, the choice is yours. But I totally agree with you that this fic has taken on a life of it's own, without your realizing it. It's too good to rush the ending and the characters to rich to play with -- because if you do rush it, they will suffer. Do what you have to do, leave it on hiatus until you are happy with it. We'll wait. The good stories are always worth the wait.

Wow, I hope you're feeling better-- seems like you're going through a lot of crap right now. :( But I just found this fic when you pseudo-updated, and I love it very much! I was going to review every chapter, but I was like "oh em gee must read the next!" and didn't... sorry. *sheepish smile* But this is an interesting premise-- and their situation is very angsty. :o Artfully done. Love this story, and update whenever you can! I can handle going a while without Chapter 9, but I bet some of the other readers of this fic (who've been waiting since July) would want more, like, now. :) But I can totally wait. Yay patience!

I would really like for you to finish this fic, for no other reason that It's a one of a kind, and I wanna see where it goes. I consider reading stories like this one a privledge, and I will take it anyway I can.

First off take care of yourself. The story could be orphaned and another writer could finish it. I know it would not be the same as you writing it. You are the important person in this story. I have suffer with depression all my life and it has kept me from a lot of experiences i now regret. If you want take your time with the rest of this story. I'll be here waiting. Thanks for a great story so far.

Ok. First, I'm sorry to hear about your situation. Really, depression and work - both horrible. I'm just glad that this update wasn't you telling us that you weren't going to be finishing the fic! I got so nervous cause I thought that was what was happening.

So, with that aside, I have to say that I would rather wait and have the whole story. Really, I'm just as anxious as the rest of the readers. I've been reading this since the first chapter. However, I know myself and I know that I can't stand being teased! So, with that being said, I would perfer to wait until you're at a stage where you can really dedicate yourself to this fic again. However, I would be happy to take whatever I can get =)

Thank you for not abandoning this fantastic fic. As far as the next chapter goes, I personally wouldn't mind reading the next chapter if you have it written, just for a little "pick me up" lol....and then waiting for the rest. Of course, it should be whatever makes you feel comfortable! Take care : )

If you have the next chapter, just post it and then I´ll gladly wait as long as it takes for the next one, I don´t care about reading the remaining chapters in a row, I´d like to have something to tide me over. But however you decide, I won´t abandon this fic either, and wait.

well it's frustrating for readers to start a fic and see that author can't update it anymore. It's been a long time since the last chapter so I think we can wait longer ;)

Well...I'd rather not leave it to chapter eight but if something juicy ended up happening in nine and then you couldn't update for months, then I'd just die even more! So i'm okay with waiting. I'll still be waiting no matter how long it takes.

Author's Response: well, I like to think that all my chapters are juicy, lmao, but what if I said chapter 9 resolves a lot of things. things that were bothering people. of course it doesn't...*resolve* them because then the fic would be over. but the silt kind of settles to the bottom, so to speak. if I thought it was going to make everyone's angsting worse, I definltely wouldn't consider posting :)
