I haven't reviewed in a couple of chapters. I'm busy remodeling our home and trying to pound out a couple of chapters of Redemption, All Manner of Monsters and La Cosa Nostra. Whew! Anyway, I wanted to just say 'kudos' for mentioning Berkeley in there! It's a great school, my oldest daughter's alma mater and a wonderful idea for Buffy! I will say this, however, long distance relationships are difficult to say the least. Berkeley, although in California, is really a great distance from UCLA/Los Angeles. I know it seems close, but California is like 700 to 800 miles in length! No sh**! My oldest daughter had this sweet, really lovely boyfriend in HS. It was like three months, tops, after she went to Berkeley that they had broken up. He wasn't as ambitious as Spike, true, but the distance was a factor in the break up. Anyway, love the Berkeley reference and I hope Buffy and Spike can work out the distance thing! spuf

Heh my high school relationship lasted through college. But still I hope Buffy makes the right decision (is there even a "right" decision in this situation? whatever). Spike is sweet to just stop by for a few minutes. This has to be like the world's worst review lol.

because I'm not from America, I have NO idea where any of these schools are, but it sounds like a hard choice. In Australia, you simply go to the state Uni, thats your ONLY choice! Great chapter.

I really like this story. Will you be giving Wm. background? Where in England he came from, his schooling, what he was being train for, I know you will tell us about his tragedy which made them leave England. Just nosey. Thanks for writing and sharing.

Oh! Is Jonathon in on the plan? That'd be nifty! I love the interaction between Buffy and Spike in this chapter- seeing her be so blushy was adorable! Now if only something could happen to Caleb to make him go away permanently LOL Excellent job!

I can see some of why Buffy would think like she has....but I think she is a bitch to do what she is doing......for what she has done was tear something special apart.....and to be honest.......I'm not sure I want it fixed......I think he needs someone that wants to be with him experience everything with him....for with out her being in his life he wouldn't be who he was today that she came to love.......if what she is seeing she thinks is due to gratitude then she doesn't love him, not really........but now she's putting a black mark on his heart and soul that wil always be there......it will take years for their trust to come a tad close to what it once was.....for that is what she really through back at him....all those years of caring and trusting one another......he'd experience Dru and still came back to her......that should have been enough. I'm stopping now....

Buffy deserves every bit of misery she is feeling. She's being extremely arrogant and condescending, like William's some child who doesn't know what he wants. I'm torn between wanting her to get a clue and wanting her to become even more miserable.

god fucking damnit i cant believe buffy is being such a bitch, i understand were shes coming from but i think shes doing it more for her then him. shes afraid he will leave her obe day so shes pushing him away thats so stupid. i feel so bad for william i no his feeling are real and its so sad wat she did for him. i love this story and am so happy that u keep updating that kicks ass. i really hope that they work it out and get together aventually. please update as soon as u can, i cant wait to read wat happens next. thanx
