Spikekat, This is a wonderful story and a truly great chapter. I was happily surprised about posting on this site and am very happy more people are able to enjoy this story. I am enjoying how you are tying up both past and present for the Slayer and her mate. Changes the lives of all.

I just wanted to say that I do love this story and have read up to chapter 45 elsewhere and am eagerly awaiting chapter 46 to come up. So I haven't reviewed this here yet but I do want to make you aware that I do appreciate this story and am awaiting the updates excitedly. If you stop at chapter 45 on this site though I may have to send my flying monkeys after you. And nobody wants that. :) Thank you for sharing this story with us.

Just caught up... four chapters in one sitting. Decadent indulgence, but it was worth it. I love the way you've developed this story SK. In the beginning, I was as much enthralled by the passionate, violent sex as I was the story. Now, with both Spike and Buffy aware of who and where they are, and the clan on their side, suddenly *I can't believe I'm going to say this*, sex scenes are less important. The story, with timeshifts forward and back, is so riveting is all consuming. Plot, good plot, is quite rare these days. This story has surpassed my expectations - twice! I love the fealty of the servants to the clan. They're almost family. I do hope they too get to have some meaty scenes in the up coming troubles. Great writing!

okay I'm frickin crying my eyes out now!!! Great story the only thing that I would have changed was the way you seemed to change from narative to pov but I think it worked out pretty well anyway!! did I mention I was crying? Kudos wonderful and touching story!
