A different take on the whole Slayer/Vamp mating thing. Ethan having a conscience is definitely refreshing to read. I like the "I hope Ripper doesn't kill me" line. I like how this story is starting out. Just one question. What season of Buffy is this supposed to be set? I'm guessing 4 from the Initiative and Spike but...? Plz update soon.

Huh? Spike claimed the First Slayer? And the Immortal Slayer is not the First Slayer... so he is mated to the first one and there's still the prophcy that Buffy is friend, lover, mate and wife to the Eternal champion. And now Spike thinks Buffy is thinking of the Immortal and leaves her... What will be next I wonder? ... If this story is finished, I think I have to reread it to understand it better. Or it will come with the next chapters. TNX for updating.

The first chapter was very good. Wonder why Buffy is with the Immortal this time ... She knew according to Prophecy, as the Immortal Slayer she was the soul-mate of Antonius Lisignolia, the Immortal Champion. Funny though, the prophesy called him the “Eternal Champion”, but the git was boring as drying paint. Prophecy, huh? Seems to me that there is a new not so boring “Eternal Champion” now :)) Looking forward to read on.

Great start to what looks to be a really intriguing story. Buffy seems a little arrogant about Spike's continuing love, so I hope you knock her down a peg or two. Loved the imagery of Spike and the Dragon. Looking forward to more. Thanks.
