Author's Response: I clearly started several chapters ago--and more than once--that there would be a little angst in this story. I'm sorry you missed that, but it was clear. And honestly, I resent the implication that what I'm writing now is not good just because it's angst. This review has left me feeling slightly offended...

Faith is going to be really pissed not to have her powers anymore. Especially if she finds out how they were lost.

The Slayer side claimed him as mate, so I'm thinking she won't want to sleep in a different bed. Might exert completion of the claim, too.

I thought this was a good, if somewhat sad store, and in keeping with how the world really works, despite our best wishes and intentions. Keep up the good work, but don't get too hung up on the angst. The point of writing fiction as opposed to stories based entirely on fact is that, in fictoin, you can be more generous with the happy endings.
