Well, I think this is an adorable story, Sweetie. Don't listen to anybody who tells you different. Some people are just jerks who get a kick outta being mean to others. Ask yourself when was the last time the nasty reviewers posted anything besides a nasty review. When have they ever put themselves out there in full exposure to be either rejected or revered? It takes alot of courage to leave yourself open to the mercy of reviewers. I've seen scores of authors whose work could be better with the help of a beta or a little brainstorming or soundboarding. Yet, they still keep at it. Never give up!

Unfortunately, when you place your writing on the web... you leave yourself open for the good and bad.... Maybe your critic can publish some of his/her work so we can critique it. I have been waiting for the wedding ritual. And I am sure you have many more interested in your Buffy/Spike stories.

Don't know what story you got the bad review from, but I know that if I see your name as author it will be worth the read. Unfortunately that isn't true of every author. I love this one. The plot is interesting and intricate, something that's a must for me. You are a wonderful author. Keep up the good worK!

OH a great chapter. Please continue to write and update soon and often. You are a very good writer and do not let anyone tell you different. It takes a very unique person to put words together and creat the enjoyable stories you write. Regain your self esteam and ignore the negativity. They are jealous of your talent. Don't let it hurt you and take it as a compliment. In life you will come across people that are just plain evil and are not happy unless they are picking on someone. Use it as a learning experience and enjoy the thought that you have something they don't. Readers and other writers that enjoy your hard work.and writing skills. Yes I know I sound like a mom here actually I am a mom I'm 58 years old with experience. and a spike and buffy fan.

Whoa....way to make us sit on the edge of our seats for 6 days...luckily for me I am atleast heading off to the melbourne Con tomorrow so that cuts out two days. I love the concept of normal Buffy, and i love how you are managing to twist each little bit you come to. Question, if Faith is the Slayer, how did Buffy get caught up in the Thy Will spell with Spike? Also, thanks for the plug. That was really sweet of you.

Author's Response: Thanks, I do what I can :) Hope you enjoy the con (you lucky girl). As for the do thy will spell, I like to think that Buffy is permanently preoccupied with Spike (as are we all, yes?). Plus that would be during her transistion time into retirement and I believe I mentioned she helped stop Adam (or was that all in my head again...) so she would still be semi-involved. Suspend disbelief: Now!

Hey, a little evil never hurt anybody (at least that's my motto since I've been a spikeaholic!) so I'm thinking, not evil - more like a "job security" thing - you leave us hanging for a few days, then we pounce on the next update like rabid dogs on a t-bone! wow that was awesome. Very well written and unexpected, i loved it. I cant wait to see what happens with Buffy and Faith and riley now....maybe things will get stirred up a little? Because this Buffy isnt retired or engaged...cant wait for more, please post soon :)
