Cordy please go into your edit personal info and make sure 'Send me an e-mail alert when one of my favorites is updated.' is checked. Just to make sure it wasn't unchecked during the upgrade. Also if it is checked then uncheck it, save that way and then go back in and recheck it and save it again, sort of like a reset.
Not sure if it was you who told me about this before but I don't have any problems getting notified when one of my faves have update. Is there anyone else with the issue I cannot determine if it's a problem with the site if no one tells me something is wrong, so if you're having a similar issue (or any issue) please say so.

Ouch - it's wasn't checked! I didn't think of looking there because it was okay before the upgrade, sorry. I hope I can post this, I'm getting a "mysql_connect" error messages. (And the only wrong chapter I saw was Beneath the Shadows of Evil but I don't read every story LOL.)

Not sure if it's just my fic but the word count isn't updating. I added a new chapter today and the word count hasn't gone up.

It's a bug happens with the upgrade, simple fix you just go to manage stories, click on edit chapter, and then submit story.

Or if you find that the word count is off on your story just let me know and I'll fix it.

Hi Pari, When I post the banner and authors notes are no longer carried forward to each chapter. Am I doing something wrong or do we need to add these each time now?

Yes if you want to add the banner to each chapter than yes you'll have to do it manually. I'll see if I can go in this weekend and work on it, but its not top on my list right now. However, i will try to work on it.

hi, i dont know know if this is abug or intentional but when i click find-a-fic in the menu on default2 skin the link says http://spikeluver.com/SpuffyRealm/Forum/index.php but loads it as a blank page, it seems to be only a problem on this skin.

lol it's ok darlaslilgirl I double post all the time, but I can delete them :) And it's not a bug just me being lazy and not updating the link, I'll work on that sometime this weekend.
Xap, I don't need to see the review hun but thank you anyway. I created the mod that would allow you authors to delete your own reviews because before I had, I was the only person who could delete them. I don't think you can imagine how time consuming that got to be...lol. Your story, your reviews you do with them what you like.

Oh, I just left it there in case you needed it to see an IP or whatever, in order to block the spammer.

Hi Pari. I just added a new chapter to one of my stories and am having the problem with the extra spacing < br / >. Not sure what I should do to fix it, or if I should just ignore it. It doesn't bother me but I'm concerned about readers being put off as a result.

Eternal Love, I'm not sure what the issue is with the extra breaks I'll have to look into it further. As far as the spamming reviews I have add the security captcha so that should cut it down, but I can not stop them entirely because you guys want the anonymous reviews allowed, so if you get a spammer you have to deal with it yourselves, just delete them.

Eternal Love what program do you use, MSWord? And how do you save the file? Do you save it as an .html file? If you are you might try saving it either as a .doc or as a .txt file.

I just updated one of my stories and I didn't have any issue with the extra breaks. I use MSWord 2010, which I save in .doc format, and then I copy/paste my stories. I don't know why this is occurring for some of you guys.

I also use MSWord and save as .doc files. Still having some extra spacing. It's really no big. I can delete them by hand until I figure out what the problem may be. Thanks for all your help, though! =)

The good thing is what I've asked you month ago, to get an email if a favorite author is updating is now functioning here too. I've got an email. But - it's blank. The email from THE SPUFFY REALM (to me) says:
Betreff (subject matter): New Story at THE SPUFFY REALM
That's it, rest is blank.
It's this way both in IE and FF.
Maybe you have to edit / mod some text into the emails because it's new.
Again YAY :) for the new feature at all.

I just updated my story, but my banner is missing yet again. And I noticed it's also missing from my last chapter along with my author's notes, which you already fixed for me before. Is it the skin I'm using, which is the 'romance'? you seemed to have changed it. I assume to make it easier to read. Could this be why?

I've been noticing the extra line breaks as well, but it only happens if I click preview story and then add story. I'm posting from a MS doc, but there's no issue if you don't edit from the box. I tried deleting the line breaks manually but it didn't fix the issue. No problem though when you paste from a .doc and hit 'Add Story' without the preview.

I only saw one story with too much space (weird formatting), another story I was thinking of has this just in ch. 1 and that was posted some time ago.
Another problem - I don't get emails about updates any longer, first one missing was "Replacement by sus" and now "If You Were to Wake Up... by facingthesun" (I've got the email from EF and have "the_spuffy_realm@yahoo.com" added.) It's not in my spam folder either. Before I had no problems when you posted about a member not getting them. Anybody else having this problem?
